Big news—Townend Field Ltd has officially transformed into a Community Benefit Society, and we’re now called the Upper Ouse Conservation Trust!
What does that mean? Well, it means we’re now set up to do exactly what we set out to do: buy and protect Townend Field for the whole community, the village school, and of course, the wildlife that calls it home.
We’re now registered with the FCA, which gives us many of the same perks as a charity—but with a bonus: we can offer membership to supporters like you! Our first three trustees—Tim, David and Graeme—are also our very first members.
This is a big step forward, and we’re so excited about what’s coming next.
