Together, we’re working to support education beyond the Ouseburn area—and in return, the team will be sharing the results of a variety of ecological surveys they’ll be carrying out on the reserve.
With access to fantastic equipment, including trail cameras, they’re well equipped to help us discover which species are making use of the site. Today, their enthusiastic team made a great start on the first round of surveys.
We’re incredibly grateful—having this kind of baseline data before any habitat work begins is invaluable. It helps us understand what’s already here to protect, and what’s currently missing that we may want to encourage in future.
A huge thank you to everyone involved—we’re really looking forward to seeing what you find!
