Colin is a local artist who lives in Great Ouseburn and has kindly donated this wonderful picture he has painted in support of the campaign to turn Townend field into a Nature Reserve. We’re sure you will agree what a fantastic painting this is.
If you would like to see more works by Colin he has an upcoming exhibition of his work along side brother and fellow brother David Swinton from Whittlesey. Their exhibition will show their Watercolours and Lino prints at Aldborough Village Hall YO51 9EP on the 14th June, 2025.
Both have exhibited and sold at the Royal Watercolour Society, the Sunday Times Watercolour Colour Competition and many museums and gallery venues.
Their work showcases a mixture of approaches and techniques in style and subject matter from impressionistic to super-realism.
All works are for sale. Entry and refreshments are free through the day from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
