We had something a little different happening at the reserve recently… Independent film-maker Lucy Smith came along with her camera to capture the sights and stories of our new nature reserve.
Lucy was keen to chat with a few of our trustees, so Chair David Lloyd, operations trustee Graeme Jackson, and media trustee Lou Rayner took her for a wander around Townend Field. They shared their passion for the place and gave her an insider’s view of how the reserve is taking shape.
The footage will form part of a documentary series all about our relationship with the natural world. The big question this episode tackles? “Should we have housing, or nature?” – a topic that feels very close to home here!
