Wow—what a night! On 25th July 2024, we held the first public meeting about Townend Field at Great Ouseburn Village Hall, and over 130 people showed up. The room was buzzing with energy, and it was clear that the community really cares about protecting this special bit of green space.
The message was loud and clear: people want to save Townend Field. The support was amazing, and it inspired Tim Gifford, Graeme Jackson, and David Lloyd to team up and start working out the next steps.
