We had a very special guest at one of our core team meetings this evening —Ethan, age 6, who came along to support his Mum (our social media volunteer).
Ethan was so excited about the idea of saving Townend Field for his school and the local wildlife that he did something amazing—he opened his piggy bank, took £21 of his own money out and donated it to the Upper Ouse Conservation Trust.
What a star! His kindness and enthusiasm reminded us exactly why we’re doing this—for the next generation, for the school, and for our whole community.
