We were delighted to welcome staff and volunteers from Beningbrough Hall (National Trust), who generously spent the day clearing vegetation along the boundary wall. This forms part of their outreach commitment to support local projects, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time and energy they bring.
Their help is a real boost to our own volunteer efforts and plays an important role in achieving our aims and objectives.
One of our ongoing aims is to maintain the landscape character that the wall provides. Thanks to today’s clearance work, we’re now able to properly assess any necessary repairs—and we think you’ll agree, it’s already looking much improved! Thankfully, any damage appears to be cosmetic rather than structural.
A huge thank you to Steve and the Wednesday Parklands Team from Benningbrough Hall for your hard work—especially in today’s heat. Your contribution is truly appreciated!
