Dame Judi backs bid to buy landscape with Brontë connections

DAME Judi Dench has given her support to try and save and important part of North Yorkshire’s landscape with Brontë connections.

Townend Field, which has been designated a site of interest for nature conservation, was drawn by Anne Brontë when she was a governess to a local family and the view towards the church and bridge is one of the highlights of the picturesque villages of Great and Little Ouseburn
